Local MP Alan Mak has hosted his 11th annual Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair at Leigh Park Community Centre.
He declared the event open, then toured the hall and talked to exhibitors and visitors.
The Fair enabled a variety of employers to show what roles they can offer and jobseekers to find out more about options in person.
Visitors could ask about vacancies, career paths and training, plus get information about higher education.
Education, training and careers exhibitors included Hampshire Futures and Seetec, while the healthcare sector was represented by Right at Home, Unity Care Specialists and Havant Home Care.
Other exhibitors included Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, South Western Railway, the Army and Utility Warehouse.
Sharon Kettle and Dawn Ward were at the Fair representing Leigh Park-based Positive Pathways, a supported volunteering and personal development programme run by local charity Community First and funded by the National Lottery's Community Fund.
Sharon said they'd had some good conversations with people who could benefit from the programme.
"It's been great. We've also had some really good feedback and have been able to network with the local community.
"Not many people are aware of us and how we can support them, so it's been good to be able to put ourselves out there at the Fair and explain what we do."
The Jobs Fair has been an annual fixture ever since Mr Mak was first elected to represent the Havant Constituency in 2015. Previous exhibitors have gone on to recruit as a direct result of meeting jobseekers at the Fair.
Mr Mak said: "For 11 years I have organised this event to give local people the opportunity to get advice and information about a range of options face-to-face and in one place.
"Thank you to all the exhibitors and all residents who visited, in spite of the wet weather, and helped to make this special event such a success."
He added: "I'll continue to support local people and our community especially in relation to jobs and apprenticeships, whether that be an entry into the world of work, a change of career or gaining more qualifications."
