Local MP Alan Mak has restated his opposition to the Assisted Dying Bill as it returns to the House of Commons.
Last year Labour MP Kim Leadbeater's Bill failed to become law.
Now another Labour MP, Lauren Edwards, is reintroducing the Bill and MPs will have a chance to vote for or against it on 11 September.
Mr Mak said: "I voted against the Bill throughout its Parliamentary stages last time and will do so again as I continue to have reservations about it. This Bill contains the same flaws as the last Bill."
