Local MP Alan Mak voted against the Assisted Dying Bill as it was narrowly passed by the House of Commons.
MPs voted to back the Bill that would legalise assisted dying, with 314 in favour and 291 against.
They were allowed a free vote at the Third Reading of the Bill before it now goes to the House of Lords for further discussion and debate.
Mr Mak said: "I've voted against the Bill throughout its Parliamentary stages and did so again as I continue to have reservations about it."
The Bill would allow terminally ill adults in England and Wales, who have less than six months to live and are of sound mind, to receive medical assistance to die.
It was initially approved by MPs in November 2024 by a majority of 55 votes and has since been undergoing further scrutiny.
