Local MP Alan Mak delivers Christmas Message to Havant Constituency residents in December 2023

Local MP Alan Mak has wished Havant Constituency residents a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2024 in his annual festive video message, following the start of Parliament's annual Christmas Recess.

Reflecting on another busy year as our area’s MP, he highlighted his three annual community events – the Health and Wellbeing Fair, the Community Information Fair and the Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair - and thanked residents for supporting them in 2023. They will all be held again in 2024.

During the past 12 months Alan has remained active across the Constituency, visiting schools, businesses, charities and community groups, whilst also helping residents with a wide range of issues.

In the autumn he launched his Havant Constituency Tree Planting Challenge with the aim of getting 1,000 trees planted by residents to improve our local environment. To find out more visit www.alanmak.org.uk/Tree

Alan said: "On a personal note, my wife Cathy and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary in 2023, following our blessing at St. Faith’s Church in Havant. Thanks to everyone who sent us good wishes!"

He added: "After a busy year for everyone, I hope you all have a great Christmas with friends and family. Please sign up for my e-mail newsletter at www.alanmak.org.uk/newsletter to stay informed about my work."
