Local MP Alan Mak has attended a special communion service at St Faith's Church in Havant to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. The service saw church-goers praying for the Monarch’s health and a long lasting reign. Alan led the Prayers of Intercession.
Local MP Alan Mak said: "I was delighted to join the congregation at St Faith's Church to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. This was an important service ushering in a new era for our country, and it was a privilege to lead the prayers of intercession."
The service was led by Canon Tom Kennar and included a reading by Alan of the prayers of intercession. Following the service, Alan and the congregation planted a hawthorne tree in the Church garden to mark the new reign of King Charles III.
