Local MP Alan Mak has cut the ribbon to officially open Beauty Aesthetics, a new beauty salon offering a range of treatments to local residents on North Street.
The shop is owned and run by local resident Joanna Davison, along with her daughter and staff. Joanna had previously been running the business from a spare room at home however now after 12 years of trading she has opened a dedicated shop in town.
Joanna’s shop offers Emsworth residents an extensive list of treatments including nails and pedicures, brows, lashes, waxing, tanning, and facials. Joanna also plans to invite health practitioners to the salon on a monthly basis.
Mr Mak was joined at the ceremony by Joanna and her family and friends, along with her partner with whom she worked to convert the formerly disused unit behind Emsworth Train Station into a beautiful new salon.
Local MP Alan Mak said: “I’m delighted to open Beauty Aesthetics alongside Joanna, and I’m glad that she has chosen Emsworth for her new shop, creating new jobs and boosting our local economy.”
Joanna Davison, owner of Beauty Aesthetics, said: “Thank you to Alan Mak for coming to help open my shop today. I’ve been running Beauty Aesthetics from home for 12 years and to finally move into a dedicated space is my dream come true. I’m looking forward to offering local residents a range of fantastic treatments at the salon!”.
