Local MP Alan Mak has wished Havant Constituency residents a Happy Christmas in his annual festive video message, following the start of Parliament's Christmas Recess.
During the past 12 months Alan has remained active across the Constituency, visiting schools, businesses, charities and community groups, whilst also helping residents with a wide range of issues.
Reflecting on another busy year, he highlighted his three annual community events – the 3rd Health and Wellbeing Fair, the 9th Community Information Fair and the 9th Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair -and thanked residents for supporting them in 2024. They will all be held again in 2025.
Regular coach trips from Havant to Parliament for guided tours have proved very popular and more will be running in 2025. To register your interest, click here.
Alan has also campaigned on key issues that matter to local people, from securing more funding for our local schools, police and hospital to opposing Labour's tax rises and their removal of the Winter Fuel Payment from 20,000 local pensioners
He said: "After a busy year for everyone, I hope you all have a great Christmas with friends and family. Please sign up for my e-mail newsletter at www.alanmak.org.uk/newsletter to stay informed about my work."
