Looking ahead to 2024, he highlighted his three community events – the Health and Wellbeing Fair, the Community Information Fair and the Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair – that he will be organising again this year.

Admission is free for all these events - please sign up for Alan's newsletter at www.alanmak.org.uk/newsletter to hear about dates and times.

Alan's Small Business and Community Awards are also back this year, so go to www.alanmak.org.uk/nominate to nominate your favourite local small business or local volunteer who has done great work in our area.

Meanwhile in the autumn he launched his Havant Constituency Tree Planting Challenge with the aim of getting 1,000 trees planted by residents to improve our local environment. To find out more about becoming involved in 2024, go to www.alanmak.org.uk/Tree.

Alan said: "Have a great 2024 and please sign up for my e-mail newsletter at www.alanmak.org.uk/newsletter to stay informed about my work."
