Local MP Alan Mak wishes good luck to local athlete and Team GB squad at Paris 2024 Paralympics

Local MP Alan Mak has wished good luck to local wheelchair athlete Eden Rainbow-Cooper and the whole Team GB squad for the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are among the world’s greatest events and the Paris Games provide a fantastic opportunity for the whole nation to come to together to celebrate British athletes as they unite and inspire people across the UK with their performances in the French capital.

Eden is a wheelchair athlete based in Havant and made history by becoming the first British woman to win the Boston Marathon in April this year

Mr Mak said, "Good luck to Eden and the whole Team GB squad for the Paris 2024 Paralympics. We're all behind you as you represent our country! Their dedication, talent and skill are inspiring millions and changing attitudes towards disability in every community across the country."
