Local MP Alan Mak has visited Leigh Park takeaway Dilan Kebab to congratulate the owners on winning a major award.
The business was named Best Regional Takeaway at the 3rd annual Turkish Restaurant & Takeaway Awards held in London.
The awards shine a spotlight on the very best of Turkish cuisine across the UK.
Dilan Kebab, in the Greywell Shopping Centre, was honoured for its dedication to quality and service. The business was started in 2010 by Aziz Mendil and is now run by his son Azad.
It's not the first time Dilan Kebab has been recognised. It also won Best Regional Takeaway in the TURTA Awards in 2023 and the Just Eat Best Delivery award at the 2021 British Kebab Awards.
Mr Mak said: "It was great to visit Dilan Kebab and congratulate Azad and the team for winning this prestigious award.
"I'm a big supporter of small, independent businesses across the Havant Constituency and I'm delighted that Dilan Kebab has been recognised nationally."
