Local MP Alan Mak has taken part in the annual Havant Community Christmas Carol Service alongside his wife Cathy at St Faith’s Church in Havant.
The MP joined local residents at the service to sing carols and usher in the festive period. He also gave a reading covering the birth of Christ.
There was also a special surprise from Santa at the service, who made an appearance to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
The service was led by Fr. Frank Hillebrand in place of Canon Tom Kennar, who is currently recovering from an operation.
Local MP Alan Mak said: “I was pleased to take part in the Havant Community Carol Service at St Faith’s Church again this year with my wife Cathy. It was again a fantastic occasion, with everyone having a good time! I also want to send my best wishes to Canon Tom Kennar as he recovers from his operation.”
