Local MP Alan Mak has joined a Coronation street party on Hayling Island to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. The event was attended by local residents and featured a range of activities.
During the event, Alan met local resident and party organiser Angela Hopkins, who has previously worked with the MP to raise funds for the Royal British Legion. Alan presented Angela with a Union flag as well as a bottle of House of Commons Champagne. He also took the time to wish everyone at the party well.
Local MP Alan Mak said: "I was pleased to attend the Coronation street party on Bosmere Road, Hayling Island and join in with the celebrations. It was wonderful to see so many local residents coming together to mark this historic occasion.”
