Local MP Alan Mak has hosted his second well-attended Health and Wellbeing Fair at the Emsworth Baptist Church.
The Fair, which Mr Mak launched last year following the COVID-19 pandemic, brought together more than 40 local health bodies, charities, community organisations and businesses.
The Fair follows the Havant Constituency MP’s highly successful Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair and Community Information Fair, which have been running for 7 years each respectively.
Local MP Alan Mak said: “Health and wellbeing have never been more important for our community, and I am delighted we had such a big turnout for my second Health and Wellbeing Fair. Thank you to the hundreds of residents and many exhibitors who came.”
Chris Knights from the Emsworth Flower Club, who exhibited at the Fair, said: “We have had a great time at Alan’s Fair and gotten a lot of interest from the community. Thank you to Alan for putting everything together!”.
Emma from Unity Care Specialists, who also exhibited, said: “Alan’s Fair has given us the opportunity to engage with local people in the community and showcase the work we do in the local area. We are looking forward to coming again next year!”
Alan’s next Fair is the Community Information Fair, which takes place on Friday 30 June at the Hayling Island Community Centre. Details for exhibitors and those wishing to attend can be found at www.AlanMak.org.uk/CIF
