Local MP Alan Mak has held his latest residents' advice surgery at the Tesco Extra store in Havant.
Although most residents now contact Mr Mak by e-mail or letter, he is also committed to running a programme of in-person advice meetings in the community.
He said: "I'm active and visible all year round in the local community and helping local people is a top priority for me.
"Most residents who need help e-mail or write and in almost all cases I can start work on issues straight away, meaning a resident doesn't have to wait until the next surgery date or take time out of their day to attend.
"As long as sufficient information is provided, I can progress matters efficiently.
"But in-person surgeries are still a good way of meeting people."
He added: "I am here to serve all local residents. If you have a specific and personal issue that is within my remit as your MP, then please contact me and I will do my best to help."
