Alan Mak, MP for Havant, has visited a prime development of almost fifty new family homes in Bedhampton.

Built by David Wilson Homes, the One Eight Zero development will offer a range of four and five bedroom homes with fantastic panoramic views of Langstone Harbour. All of the properties will benefit from NHBC’s 10 year Buildmark warranty to provide peace of mind for homeowners.

There are also 14 affordable plots as part of the development available providing much needed, high quality homes for local families. Situated on a steep and sloping area, the development has proved challenging for David Wilson Homes, but in addition to the stunning views it affords, the homes are close to local amenities, schools and great transport links.

The visit is hosted by NHBC, the UK’s leading home warranty and insurance provider and David Wilson Homes to showcase the high quality new homes being built in the area.

Alan Mak MP said: “Alan Mak said: “I was delighted to visit the One Eight Zero development in Bedhampton, where NHBC and David Wilson Homes are working together to provide excellent housing for local families and first–time buyers.”

The Havant MP added: “In partnership with home builders and housing standards agencies, the Government is committed to providing affordable long-term housing for young families and buyers starting out on the property ladder. Schmes such as Help to Buy and the new Lifetime ISA give Havant house-hunters a better chance to own their own home in excellent developments such as One Eight Zero.”

Lewis Sidnick, NHBC Head of External Affairs, said: “We are delighted to be able to show Mr Mak around the impressive One Eight Zero development. David Wilson Homes have done an excellent job in building stunning homes in a challenging location.

“As the UK's leading insurance and warranty provider of new homes, NHBC works closely with housebuilders to support the delivery of high quality homes. We also work with Parliamentarians to develop and promote good housing policy.”

Tim Hill, Managing Director of David WIlson Homes said: “We always welcome the opportunity to showcase our five star quality and One Eight Zero is a great example of how David Wilson Homes is building some of the finest homes in the area. Buyers have been drawn here for a number of reasons ranging from the stunning views over Langstone Harbour, great transport links and proximity to both local amenities and numerous attractions.”
