NGN Panel Event on the British Dream - 30 March 2015
Our panel, chaired by Portsmouth News Editor Mark Waldon, will examine whether the "British Dream" is still alive. The "British Dream" is the idea that no matter how modest your start in life, through hard work and determination, anyone can achieve their goals, build a successful career and play an active role in their community. Is this true today? Was it ever true? Does success depend on who you know, or what you know? Or who knows you?
Charlie Mullins OBE, Britain's first millionaire plumber and founder of Pimlico Plumbers will be joined on the panel by local entrepreneur Emily Warne, co-founder of Havant-based award-winning salon HairRomance; Mark Catlin, Chief Executive of Portsmouth FC; and other panellists to be announced shortly.
We are grateful for the support of the Blue Bell Inn, Emsworth, Northney Ice Cream, Fasset and Hazle & Co.
