My position is clear: no illegal migrants or migrant boats should be brought ashore on Hayling Island.
I have a 5-point plan to protect our community. Please let me know your views and show your support.
1. The Government to rule out bringing illegal migrants, or migrant boats, onto Hayling Island or any other part of the Havant Constituency.
2. Illegal migrants in the Hampshire coast area to be transferred AT SEA onto Government/other boats and taken directly to Dover for processing and then deported. Migrants should NOT be brought ashore and transferred by road to Dover.
3. All illegal migrants arriving on small boats to be DEPORTED within 7 days, and banned from claiming taxpayer-funded legal aid.
4. All illegal migrants to be BANNED from claiming asylum in the UK.
5. Britain to leave the European Convention Human Rights (ECHR) and repeal the Human Rights Act so the UK regains full control of border and immigration policy.
