Local MP Alan Mak is continuing his campaign to secure full restoration of diagnostic services at Oak Park Community Clinic in Havant.
He met NHS managers at Oak Park to discuss the continuing absence of vital services such as X-rays and echocardiograms.
These and ultrasound scans were suddenly withdrawn by the contractor before Christmas last year without any consultation with the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, local GPs or patients.
Patients were told they would have to travel to St Mary's Hospital or QA Hospital in Portsmouth instead.
Mr Mak secured and led a debate on the issue in the House of Commons and launched a petition to get diagnostic services restored at Oak Park.
Since then ultrasound scans have recommenced at Oak Park, while new liver FibroScans have also been introduced. Scans in general have actually increased from one day a week to three.
But basic X-rays and echocardiograms are still not being provided there.
The ICB has confirmed that the contractor for Oak Park is serving a period of notice that is due to end in December 2026.
It is looking at options that include appointing a different contractor to provide all the original services at Oak Park.
This will involve a procurement process and no date has been given for the missing services to return.
Mr Mak said: "It is good to hear that the NHS ICB wants to find a new contractor and return services to Oak Park that were taken away without warning last year.
"I hope this process can be concluded as soon as possible as I believe services should be provided close to people's homes, particularly for those who are sick, elderly and vulnerable and struggle to travel."
He added: "In the meantime I'll continue my campaign to get full diagnostic services reinstated at Oak Park. If you agree with me, please sign my petition."
