Local MP Alan Mak has paid tribute to Hayling Island's veterans and heroes on Remembrance Sunday.
Wreaths were laid in Hayling Island on behalf of local MP Alan Mak on Remembrance Sunday.
One was laid at the COPP Memorial on the seafront by Cllr Julie Richardson, while another was laid at the War Memorial in Mengham by Cllr Brenda Linger.
Mr Mak later visited both memorials to pay his respects.
Ahead of Remembrance Sunday, Mr Mak also joined local volunteers and supporters of the Royal British Legion in Havant and Hayling Island to help sell poppies.
He is Vice-President of the RBL's Havant branch and a longstanding Legion volunteer.
Mr Mak said: "Every year at Remembrancetide, I take part in events across the Havant Constituency to honour the service and sacrifice of all those have served and continue to serve our country.
It was an honour to take part in the parade and services.
"Thank you to Hayling residents for their strong support for the Poppy Appeal and their participation in events on Remembrance Sunday and throughout Remembrancetide."
