Home Instead were one of over 50 businesses present as hundreds of local residents took the opportunity to find employment, engage with exhibitors and gain crucial recruitments tips and skills.
Following the visit, Alan Mak said: “Congratulations to Home Instead Havant on their Queen’s Award for Innovation, which was thoroughly deserved. Mark and his team provide a valuable service to some of our most vulnerable residents, and it’s great to see this being rewarded with a very precious national award.”
Mak added: “Looking after our elderly population and those in care is one of my top priorities as local MP. It was great to see Home Instead exhibiting at my Jobs Fair back in February, and I hope to continue helping senior constituents with an Older People Information Day in October this year.
Havant Home Instead owner Mark Gettinby commented: “It’s great to see Alan showing his support as our local MP. Caring for our elderly is a growing issue in our society and, having Alan’s backing, it is reassuring to know that the voices of our carers and clients will be heard on a national scale.”
“We’re delighted to receive such a prestigious accolade, and it is a testament to the hard work and exceptional care being provided by our Home Instead Caregivers in Havant.”
