Local MP Alan Mak has spoken at the official re-opening of the fire-hit Assembly Room in Emsworth.
Part of the roof at Emsworth Community Centre was badly damaged by a blaze that broke out in March last year.
Now the Assembly Room is finally back in operation and centre manager Ann O'Dea cut a ribbon to mark the occasion.
Emsworth Community Association chairman Richard Stepien gave a speech and local MP Alan Mak, who has been helping the ECA with the insurance claim for the building, also spoke about how the local community had really pulled together in the aftermath of the fire and to get the building re-opened.
Emsworth Library, which is housed in the community centre, also had to close after the fire. But this reopened again a couple of months later.
The ECA manages the community centre, which usually hosts more than 80 activities for people of all ages, from dance and exercise classes through to films, social events, art and adult education classes.
Some of these groups were displaced by the fire, but have now been welcomed back.
Mr Mak said: "It's great news that the Assembly Room is up and running again and available for hire after more than a year out of action. I was pleased to attend the official re-opening and say a few words."
He added: "I know that the community centre plays an important role in the lives of local people and I look forward to all the normal activities resuming."
