Local MP Alan Mak is inviting residents from across the Havant Constituency to his first Health and Wellbeing Fair at the Emsworth Baptist Church on Friday 27 May 2022.

The event will take place between 10am and 2pm. Admission is free, and everybody is invited to come along and drop-in any time.

Around 30 exhibitors will be attending the Fair, including local community groups, health charities, and other bodies providing advice and support in relation to mental and physical health.

Among them will be staff from the Emsworth Surgery, which Alan Mak MP opened last autumn after a 6 year campaign. They will be on hand to provide free COVID vaccinations as well as blood pressure checks.

The new Health Fair comes after the COVID pandemic at a time when personal health and wellbeing have never been more important, and follows a long history of successful Fairs hosted by Mr Mak in the Havant Constituency such as the Jobs, Careers and Apprenticeships Fair and the Community Information Fair. Both Fairs have now been running for 6 years each.

Local MP Alan Mak said: “Good health and wellbeing has never been more important following the COVID pandemic. That is why I am encouraging residents from across the Havant Constituency to visit my Health and Wellbeing Fair. Local community groups, health charities, and other bodies providing advice and support in relation to mental and physical health will be present to engage with local residents.”
