Alan Mak MP meeting with Right at Home team

Local MP Alan Mak has congratulated two homecare company workers who secured roles thanks to his annual Jobs Fair.

He visited Right at Home's head office in Havant and met Accounts and Systems Manager Mark Wilson and Senior Carer Becky Griffiths.

Mark and Becky both started with the company in 2017 after talking to Right at Home owner and director Duncan Cameron at Mr Mak's Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair held that year.

They've been at the company ever since and have both gone on to be promoted.

Right At Home Havant & Petersfield delivers companionship and personal care plus specialist care, particularly for those living with dementia, in Havant, Emsworth, Hayling Island, Waterlooville and Petersfield, including Liphook and Liss.

The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026.

Mr Mak said: "It was great to meet Mark and Becky and see how they've progressed since joining Right at Home.

"The company is a long-time supporter of my Jobs Fair and Mark and Becky are a fantastic example of how it can successfully bring together employers and potential employees. I wish them all the best for the future."

Mr Mak's 11th annual Jobs Fair will be held at Leigh Park Community Centre on Friday 23 October, 2026. Admission is free and residents can drop in any time between 10am and noon.

He added: "I look forward to seeing you there!"
